Jon Moody loved life, loved people, and loved Jesus. He also loved the color pink. Jon's quirky and fun personality made him the perfect Minister to Middle School Students at Chets Creek Church. He loved students and especially enjoyed taking them to summer camp.

In the summer of 2013, Jon passed away from complications related to a heart issue he had since birth. Jon didn't let his health stop him from living life to the fullest. He lived with purpose and passion and inspired others around him to do the same.

Camp is a big deal at Chets. Every year these weeks in the summer have an incredible, life-changing impact on our kids and students. All gifts to the Pink4Jon Offering are tax-deductible and go to a camp scholarship fund that was established in Jon's memory. Partial scholarships are available to help families send their children to summer camp.

On Sunday, February 25, 2024, we’ll be celebrating Jon’s legacy on “PINK4JON SUNDAY” as we collect a special offering for this scholarship fund to help kids and students go to camp.
